Adding Hosts for ICMP monitoring
For adding hosts for monitoring using ICMP based pings follow the steps below...
Step 1:
Step 2: Select the first option
"Add Single Host" if you would like to add only one host for
monitoring. Enter the host address either as a domain name (FQDN) or IP
address.
Step 3: Click Add. If you would
want to servers which are in a range of IP addresses then you can enter
the starting and ending IP address range as shown below.
Step 4: Click Add. Once added
the server program will commence the monitoring of the hosts within a
10 seconds. The data for the hosts will be available within a minute.
